"For 10 years, I have used proven coaching strategies to help clients strive for their most important financial goals through behavior modification and sound planning."
Michael knew from a very young age what career he wanted to have. As a young man growing up in Peachtree City, GA, he had the opportunity to witness firsthand how comprehensive planning could have significantly influenced the lives of investors who were affected by the tech bubble burst. That lesson taught him the value of building and implementing a financial plan. With this in mind, he attended Georgia State University to achieve his bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance. While preparing for his career in the financial industry, Michael affirmed his passion for working with people to better themselves by working as a personal trainer. Michael believes that personal finances, much like personal health, require diligence and focus on the long-term objectives in order to achieve them.
In December of 2007, Michael began his career as a financial advisor with Trilogy Financial Services. He obtained his FINRA Series 6, 63, 7 (held with LPL Financial) and 65 (held with Trilogy Capital, Inc) registrations as well as his life and health insurance licenses. He joined the management of the firm in May of 2010. He is able to not only advise clients on how to address their long-term financial goals but is also guiding representatives and their clients. In March of 2012, Michael obtained his CFP® designation and continues to work with clients to help them prioritize their most important financial goals and implement a plan to pursue them.
Michael lives in Centennial, CO with his wife Kim and three children Dexter, Callen, and Greta. When not planning, Mike is an active member of the Make-A-Wish Colorado advisory board. He also enjoys hiking, fitness, and reading mostly in the historical non-fiction genre.
