Jeff Motske had a dream of creating a company that would assist people with all of their financial needs. Today, that dream is a reality. Jeff formed Trilogy Financial Services in 1999, and at the end of its first year, Trilogy had 36 advisors; today, the firm is on track to be 200 reps strong by year end, and just opened it's 10th office in the Greater Boston Area this year. Jeff expects Trilogy to exceed $1 billion in assets in the near future, and says the firm is “just getting started.”
After earning a degree in Business Administration from Vanguard University, Jeff began his career at a mutual fund company soon became a Registered Representative with a thriving practice at SunAmerica. By most people’s standards, he had made it. But Motske had a bigger vision – to create the next generation of independent Financial Planners that will assist millions of Americans achieve Financial Independence.
As founder and CEO Jeff is responsible for the overall vision and day-to-day operations of the company, which offers financial, tax and estate services to the public. He chose the name “Trilogy” to reflect this three-pronged approach to planning.
Trilogy typically hires individuals who are often getting started in the industry after pursuing a different career and finding it unfulfilling. Jeff and his management team first help advisors obtain licensing, then begin a thorough training process that teaches Reps how to conduct effective client interviews, get high-quality referrals and build their practice the right way.
All the while, Jeff has maintained a personal financial planning practice which continues to confirm the valuable role financial planning plays in everyone's life. Jeff is also a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and an Investment Advisor Representative with National Planning Corporation (NPC). He and his wife Kendra are the proud parents of two children, Tanner and Brooklyn. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise, golf, bridge, reading, and spending time with his family.
